E-BIRDY Launch Event Film

Created by our team as the official launch film for Taipei Cycle 2026, the video takes inspiration from the “Birdy” name itself, building its narrative around a series of “-y” keywords that reflect both the bike’s character and contemporary city lifestyles.

Through a combination of cinematic product photography and real-world riding sequences, the film visualizes “The Birdy Legacy” — connecting three decades of iconic folding bike craftsmanship with the evolving demands of modern smart mobility, while highlighting the balance between performance, innovation, and lifestyle aesthetics.

Opening with the symbolic “30+1,” the film marks Pacific Cycles’s 31st anniversary while referencing the phonetic connection between “+1” and “+E” in Mandarin — signaling the beginning of the next-generation E-BIRDY era.

Through seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor environments, the film highlights the E-BIRDY’s unique balance of lifestyle-driven design and everyday practicality, showcasing the versatility of the electric folding bike across modern urban scenarios.

The film moves beyond the conventional performance-spec narrative commonly seen in the cycling industry. Centered around the final letter “y” in the Birdy name, the creative direction develops a series of descriptive keywords — including Tiny, Easy, Flowy, Feathery, Sturdy, Safety, Speedy, and Power Ready — transforming technical product attributes into a rhythmic and memorable storytelling language.

Visually, the film adopts a dual-layer narrative approach: one thread focuses on cinematic close-ups that highlight the bike’s industrial design aesthetics, while the other shifts into real-life urban scenarios, capturing the E-BIRDY in motion as part of contemporary city living.

To highlight the features most relevant to consumers and distributors — including design details, charging, and smart functions — the film combines bold typography, contrasting color blocks, and close-up visuals to deliver key product advantages in a clear, concise, and visually engaging way.
