Inspired by Taiwan’s vibrant hand-shaken tea culture, this concept integrates the unique local habit of bespoke ordering. In Taiwan, tea is enjoyed in infinite ways; each custom combination of sweetness and toppings not only reflects personal taste but also mirrors the diverse and inclusive lifestyle of Taiwanese society.
This design translates the tacit dialogue of Taiwan’s tea shops—a unique local ritual—into a creative gifting experience. By embedding these "ordering codes" into the packaging, we offer international travelers a playful and authentic gateway to understanding Taiwan’s vibrant, daily tea culture.
The outer sleeve features a die-cut window in the shape of a signature hand-shaken tea cup. As the inner box is pulled out, a vibrant array of tea toppings is revealed through the window—a playful visual surprise that mimics the customization process. While the structural design remains minimalist and clean, it is thoughtfully infused with these delightful elements, transforming a simple unboxing into a moment of pure joy.
