Defining a successful "Super Sport" position required seamless synergy between design and engineering. By integrating Nova Design’s creative vision with the client’s R&D, we achieved a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, ensuring elite handling to match its aggressive persona.
The aesthetic draws inspiration from the majestic "Dragon," capturing a sense of latent power even at a standstill. Utilizing an Art-Fusion fluid design language, the intersecting body surfaces create dynamic light and shadow effects. This approach gives life to every character line, channeling the fluid, high-speed motion of a dragon in flight.
The front fascia features a layered V-shaped architecture, anchored by "Sniper-style" dual LED projector headlights that create a sharp, focused expression. A key technical challenge involved the integrated DRL and turn signal modules. Despite complex spatial and optical constraints, close collaboration with suppliers resulted in a seamless lighting signature that mimics the fluid, powerful sweep of a dragon’s whiskers.
The body surfaces prioritize the play of light and shadow, transitioning into sharp, split rear grab rails that extend outward toward the tail. The design culminates in a high-impact, large-scale LED taillight assembly, creating a "floating" rear-end aesthetic. This bold, high-performance silhouette has become the DRGBT’s most recognizable trait, fueling significant market buzz upon its release.
To bring the "Dragon" from concept to reality, 3D digital modeling served as the vital bridge between fluid aesthetics and precision engineering. Rather than simply digitizing sketches, the modeling process actively integrated complex layering with production-ready constraints.
The DRGBT utilizes fluid sculpture to create its signature depth. Our digital team meticulously translated these multi-dimensional features into a 3D environment, optimizing surface continuity and joint tolerances for mass production. By refining the interplay between linear character lines and organic surfaces, we ensured that the final biomimetic form retained its mythical spirit while meeting the rigorous standards of industrial assembly.
Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) design is the primary driver of emotional connection and brand identity. Our team integrates advanced coating technology with cultural symbolism to give each product a distinct personality.
To capture the mystique of the Eastern Dragon, the CMF team developed a specialized paint process blending fine pearlescent particles with metallic pigments. This creates a multi-layered, dynamic visual effect where the color shifts under varying angles and lighting conditions. The resulting metallic luster provides the DRGBT with a sophisticated, innovative identity that perfectly aligns with its mythical theme.
