透過排卵檢測試劑作為生育計畫的輔助工具，檢測黃體生成激素（LH）的峰值水準，是臨床證實能較為有效掌握排卵日，提升受孕機率的方式之一。但目前市售的傳統排卵檢測試劑，單純僅以試劑上兩條線的顯色差異來呈現是否排卵的結果，不僅以肉眼判斷相對困難，且使用者必須自行收集多日檢測後的試劑進行管理，方能推估找出最佳受孕時機，使用上非常不便。
